Independent Credit View AG (I-CV) was founded in 2003 as the first independent credit rating and credit research institute in Switzerland. We analyse and monitor the credit quality of our client’s portfolios on a permanent basis. Our coverage includes both national and international issuers of fixed income instruments (public bonds, private placements, loans).
The I-CV team of seasoned credit research specialists combines many years of in-depth and international experience in the field of credit analysis covering corporate, financial and sovereign issuers. Proprietary valuation models together with a robust analytical framework allow for an autonomous assessment of each credit.
I-CV successfully established the Swiss Bond Congress as one of the most relevant events for institutional bond investors in Switzerland and Germany. The event is recognised as a unique platform to conduct an open dialogue between bond issuers and institutional investors.
Philosophy
I-CV is the only credit research company in the German-speaking Europe that is strictly committed to the ” investor-paid ” model. We act exclusively in the interest of the investor and are paid for our analyses and ratings by the investor – not the issuer. We are not subject to any conflicts of interest or restrictions and the company is 100% employee owned.
We do not publish cumbersome reports but produce research that is specific and to the point whilst addressing the events and trends that are most relevant to the future rating development of a company.
Our analyses enable I-CV customers to identify early warning signs of a change in creditworthiness and react ahead of the market.
